The Niagara Peninsula Society is one of over 100 local societies of the Archaeological Institute of America, an organization founded in 1879 to promote archaeological research and publication and the preservation of the world's archaeological heritage. Through our public lecture program and other activities, we provide a venue for people in the Niagara Region interested in archaeology to meet each other and interact with archaeologists working both locally and worldwide. Please join us!
2008 marks the Niagara Peninsula Society's 40th Anniversary. We will be holding a special dinner lecture on Sunday, April 6 at Club Roma with Prof. Michael Fuller speaking on "DaVinci Code, Templars and Archaeology". Tickets will be $60.00 (including a $25.00 tax deductable donation to the AIA Niagara Peninsula Society) or $35.00 for students. We hope that you'll be able help us celebrate by joining us for an evening of great food and fascinating archaeology. You can also attend just the lecture for free. Please see Lecture Program further details.
